Qualifications:
1. Masters Degree - Emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction (M.A. or M.Ed.)
(Significant experience in C&I considered if masters is in another area)
2. Administrative Endorsement - Required - Superintendent's Endorsement - Preferred
3. Continued Teacher Certification
Reports to: Superintendent
Supervises: Various committees, programs, and staff as appropriate or assigned

Job Goal:
To provide leadership in:
- The development, implementation, assessment, and coordination of the district's K-12 curriculum, instructional practices, and supervision systems;
- The investigation, evaluation, implementation, and management of instructional software;
- The facilitation of district teams and committees related to instructional elements & personnel;
- Sustaining and enhancing the S.D. #6 professional development program;
- The yearly federal and state programs reporting, grant writing, and program implementation. Also includes Title IX oversight and investigations.
