APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

An application is considered complete when all of the items listed below are received on or before the closing date. Only complete applications are eligible for screening.   Supplemental documents, such as those listed below, can be uploaded in the attachment page of the application, and MUST be in a pdf format.

 

1.  Cover letter.

2.  Current resume.

3. Three (3) letters of recommendation, within the past three years and preferably from previous employers. Please attach all letters of recommendation in one document.   To upload letters properly, all letters  need to be in one document.  Uploading one letter at a time will replace the previous document.

 

If hired, these requirements must be met before the first day of work:

1.  Fingerprinting - This district requires final candidates to pay for their own background check. Fingerprinting is done by appointment only; please call Karla Therrien at (406) 892-6550, ext. 1421. The cost is $30.00, payable by cash or check only, at the time of service.

2.  MMR immunization records – If born after December 31, 1956, you will need to provide proof of immunity (titer test) or medical records verifying that your Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccinations are up-to-date before the first day of work.

All employment offers are contingent upon providing complete MMR records, satisfactory results of the background check, and Board approval.

 

 

Qualifications:  

Essential Functions:

Equipment Used:

Stopwatch, calculator, computer, copy machine, fax machine, telephone/voice mail, score-keeping equipment or other equipment germane to the sport/activity

 

 

Work Environment:

The employee constantly works around others, works with the public, and works inside and outside.  The noise level in the work environment varies, but are frequently loud.  The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.

 

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to walk and continuously required to stand.  The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and waist while performing the duties of this position.  The employee will occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee continuously uses hand strength to grasp tools.  The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

 

Mental/Motor Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely performs routine work.  The employee exercises flexibility (ability to shift from one task to another). Guidance and reinforcement are infrequently available.  The employee frequently works within time constraints and must maintain attentiveness intensity.  The employee is frequently involved in social interactions which require oral and written communication.  Reasoning and exercising judgment are used/required on the job.
